Submit Transcripts & Meningitis Documentation

Transcript Requirements

New to College Students
If you have graduated from high school within the last five years, you will be required to submit an OFFICIAL high school transcript. If you earned your GED, you must submit GED completion documentation. The transcript will be reviewed to determine if TSI assessment requirements are met by your STAAR, TAKS, SAT, or ACT scores.

Transfer Students
Submit OFFICIAL transcripts from all accredited colleges or universities attended outside of the Dallas County Community College District (DCCCD) immediately after applying for admission to Richland College. DCCCD Board Policy mandates the submission of all transcripts regardless of whether or not you intend to earn a degree at Richland. Official transcripts submitted cannot have a print date over 3 years old.

Former Students
Students formerly enrolled in a college of the DCCCD who have not attended a DCCCD college for more than one year must submit an updated online application to be considered for re-admission. If you have official transcripts on file that have a print date of over 3 years, you will be required to submit updated official transcripts upon re-admitting to the college.

Dual Credit
You will be required to complete a Dual Credit Application Packet which includes the application for admissions results page, high school student enrollment form, consent to emergency treatment form, FERPA Release/Registration by Proxy form, Official High School transcript, college placement scores, and the bacterial meningitis vaccination compliance form. Bacterial Meningitis Requirements

Texas state law requires that all entering students under the age of 22 must provide evidence of receiving an initial bacterial meningitis vaccine dose or booster within the last five years unless they are exempt (see exemptions below). Students must show proof of having the vaccination at least 10 days prior to the first day of the first semester in which the student initially enrolls at an institution. Students who fail to submit required meningitis vaccine documentation may not register for classes. A block will be placed on your student record and will not be removed for any reason until your proper documentation is on file with the Admissions Office.

Note: The only two vaccines approved at this time are MCV4 (Menveo) and MPSV4 (Menactra). The Meningitis B (MenB) vaccine is not required and will not fulfill your meningitis documentation requirement at this time.
