English Practice – Conversation Partners and Reading
- Help international students with English conversation skills
- Assist international students with reading English, grammar, pronunciation and comprehension
- Meet 1 hour weekly with 2-4 students
- Wednesdays 12:30-1:30PM in Thunderduck Hall, rooms T241, T243, T245

Tutor/Mentor Program
- Share knowledge of your favorite subject with Richland students in math, accounting, writing, reading, history, government or science
- Qualified with degree or life/work experience
- 1-2 hours per week at a scheduled day/time
- Training provided by the Learning Center

Reading Enhances Academic Development (R.E.A.D.)
- Assist students enrolled in Developmental Reading and ESOL Reading classes with comprehension, vocabulary, critical thinking and study skills
- Meet 1-2 hours weekly, one-on-one

Language Exchange
- Help ESOL students improve conversational skills
- Engage students in one of our educational games during the first part of the session
- Encourage participants to share some words of expression in native languages during the second part of the session
- Language Exchange is held every Friday from 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. and from 1:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m.
- The meeting location is in the ESOL Corner in Wichita Hall (across from WH261)
