The Dallas County area is home to a wide variety of manufacturing companies. In fact, Garland is one of the largest manufacturing cities in the state of Texas with over 375 manufacturers. In response to the wide variety of needs expressed by the manufacturing community, Richland College and the Garland Chamber of Commerce formed the Dallas County Manufacturers’ Association (DCMA) in 2006.

DCMA’s goal is to provide the Dallas County manufacturing community with the best possible opportunities to grow, compete and succeed in the global marketplace. One of DCMA’s major objectives is to provide resources for a qualified workforce and training. They accomplish this by working closely with Richland College which provides an extensive array of training programs designed to meet the needs of the manufacturing community.

Richland College Corporate Services is delighted to have formed a partnership with Senseability Technical Training, LLC (Senseability) a Texas based provider of instructor led industrial classes. Senseability has been providing industrial and corporate technical training since 2002.

The scope of work that Senseability is able to provide includes Electrical Courses, Mechanical Courses, Safety Courses, and HVAC courses. This allows the client flexibility to schedule training around their production requirements. They are able to modify the course content and schedule to meet the needs of the client.

Richland College Corporate Services is pleased to continue its partnership with The Quality Group to deliver world-class blended e-Learning solutions for Workforce Development.

Through this partnership Corporate Services’ offers Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Training.
