Continuing Education New Adjunct Faculty Orientation

Welcome to the Continuing Education Adjunct Faculty Online Orientation!

Dr. Kay Eggleston, President of Richland College, and the administration welcome you.

Our campus is the largest of the seven campuses of the Dallas County Community College District and serves approximately 27,000 students who are seeking to complete associate degrees, transfer credits, or certificates for credit or non-credit.

Prior to the beginning of each long semester, Richland College conducts an all Faculty Convocation which included both CE, credit adjunct faculty and full-time faculty.

Academic schools and/or discipline areas also hold meetings for their adjunct faculty at the beginning of each long semester.

These meetings provide an opportunity for adjunct faculty to become acquainted with the specific guidelines for their teaching areas as well as with some of the full-time faculty and other adjunct faculty.
