Richland College is committed to providing equitable athletic opportunities, teams and facilities for women and men. The Equity in Athletics Act is designed to make prospective students aware of a school’s commitment to providing equitable athletic opportunities.The college’s annual report to the U.S. Department of Education, in accordance with the Equity in Athletics Disclosure Act of 1994 (EADA), includes the following:

  • Number of student, male and female who are participating in the various sports programs offered by the college
  • Number of head and assistant coaches for each sport based upon gender and full or part-time status
  • Operating expenses
  • Athletically-related student aid
  • Recruiting expenses for each team
  • Salaries for head and assistant coaches
